Life Story for Frances Previti
Frances Previti (née Mormelo) died at Hunterdon Medical Center on September 28, 2017 of natural causes. She was 94.
Fran was born on August 15, 1923 in Plainfield, NJ to her parents, Benny Mormelo and Josephine Bonnetti. She attended Westfield High School. She married James Agatino Previti on February 24, 1946. They moved to North Plainfield where James worked as a Manager for a plastics factory and Fran worked as the manager of Mountainside Pastry shop. She retired in 1977. She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, playing mah jahng and traveling. Fran and her husband moved to Hunterdon County in 2003 to be closer to their son and his wife.
Frances is survived by her daughter Lorraine Decker of Scotch Plains, NJ; her son, Jim and his wife Judy of Lebanon Township, two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James; her sister, Rosemarie; and her brother, Sonny.
All are welcome to attend and celebrate Fran’s life at Dooley Colonial Funeral home Sunday, October 1st from 4-8pm. A mass of Christian burial is on Monday at 10 am at Holy Trinity in Westfield. Burial is at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
Fran spent the last 5 of years of her life as a Resident of Little Brook Nursing home. She was very involved in all of the Activities and felt at home. She planted tomatoes, went on trips, enjoyed entertainment and did art projects.
