Terence Christian Brady, Jr. (Age 86)
Terry passed away peacefully on November 28, 2017 in Sun City Center, Florida, with his wife of 60 years, Jane Leffler Brady, at his side.  He was born on July 31, 1931 to Terence Christian Brady and Mabel Nicholsen Brady, and primarily grew up in Westfield, New Jersey.  At Westfield HS, Terry was a standout in basketball (tied WHS single game scoring record of 37 points in 1948) and golf (2nd place in NJ State Championship in 1948).  He proceeded to the University of Notre Dame, and was graduated with a degree in Commerce with Cum Laude honors in 1952.  After college, Terry entered the U.S. Navy and was a RIO flying in AD-4W Skyraiders off the USS Coral Sea.  In the U.S. Navy, he achieved the rank of Commander and was honorably discharged.  In 1961, Terry earned his MBA from New York University.  He had a successful business career, culminating with his promotion to Sr. Vice President & Corporate Controller for C.R. Bard, Inc.  After 27 enjoyable years with C.R. Bard, Terry retired in 1996.  In addition to his professional career, Terry coached numerous youth sports teams in Westfield.  In his later years, Terry loved playing golf and traveling with his beloved wife, Jane.
Terry is survived by his wife, three children and spouses: Jane L. Brady, Nancy Brady Smith, Audrey H. Brady, Daniel J. Brady & Melissa A. Brady, Wendy Brady Ruff & Robert G. Ruff, and nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Terry's eldest son, Terence C. Brady III, preceded him in death in December of 2014.
Visitation is Sunday, December 3, from 3:30pm to 6pm at the Dooley Colonial Funeral Home in Westfield, NJ.  A memorial service will be held at 10am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Mountainside, NJ on Monday, December 4.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ, 08691, or visit for more information.
