Born in Orange, New Jersey on May 4, 1941 to Dominic and Mildred (Pizzi) Perruso. Dominic graduated from Orange High School 1959 where he was nominated best dressed in his senior year and was a member of the OHS Marching Band & Trumpet Soloist. Following graduation he enlisted in the 78th Division of the Army Reserves where he was a member of the Army Reserve Marching Band.

In his early days, Dominic attended the Franklin Beauty School where he then became the master stylist at Saks 5th Avenue, Jalms and Salon owner of Studio 4 in Millburn, NJ. Dominic was an avid music lover who idolized Harry James and shared a birthday with his favorite jazz musician Maynard Ferguson. His passion for performing live music & entertainment led him to create his own musical production company where he was leader, entertainer and solo trumpet player for The Dom Perry Orchestra. He was also a distinguished member in the horn section of the Garden State Marching Bands.

He is survived by his wife Anne (Alibrandi) Perruso, his 4 children, Kevin & Lisa Perruso, Robin & Joseph Tobia, Dominic & Noemi Perruso, Perri & Vincent Urso. I called Ford tCo. his morning to inquire about Domenic and learned of his death. My husband John and I thought the world of him. We met him as a salesman selling us a Ford but we came to know him as a friend. He was a dear loving soul. I extend my deepest sympathy to all in his family and to all his many friends. Holding all in prayer. Joyce McGirr, February 18, 2019

Dearest Annie and entire Perruso Family. On behalf of the entire DeMinico family, we would like to convey our most heartfelt condolences to you all. Please know that we are with you, in heart and soul, in these most trying times. We are truly sorry for your loss and can only imagine how heartbroken you all feel. Dominic was a wonderful and exceptional human being and a close member of our Acapulco family. A “Master of Ceremony” of all times, he always made sure the party was the best it could be for the people he loved. He was the life of the party and none was the same without him. “ Bobby Orlando” was his ACAPULCO production and we dwill keep the fondest memories , for a lifetime. Without exception, his heart was always in the right place. He was loved and will be sorely missed. Please take solace in the fact that heaven has now acquired another angel . Our deepest and sincere condolences ,with much love, Lyne, Cristina,Vanessa,Joey and Roberto (Bobby Orlando). 💙💙💙💙💔💔💔💔
