Born in Elizabeth, NJ to Francis and Frances Giegerich, Suzanne grew up in Westfield with her three brothers, Leonard, Francis and Peter. She had resided in North Plainfield before moving to South Carolina.
Suzanne spent most of her career working at Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill, NJ where she retired in 1992 after 18 years and then worked at Affinity Federal Credit Union until 2005.
Suzanne was enthusiastic about life!
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, participating in outdoor activities and she was especially passionate about world travel. In her travels she visited five continents and over 30 countries and was always planning her next adventure. She even inspired her grandchildren to travel by taking them with her on special journeys. One of her most favorite places to visit was France.
Suzanne also loved to dance. She would always be the first and last person dancing at any party or family gathering accompanied by her infectious smile.
Surviving are her two sons Michael Cirincione of Boston, MA and John Cirincione of Westfield, NJ and their wives Joanne and Jodi and her daughter, Elizabeth Kelk with David Haynes of St.Croix; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Dooley Colonial Home on Wednesday, February 27th from 5 PM to 9 PM. There will be a brief service at the funeral home on Thursday morning at 10:30 AM followed by burial at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s New Jersey (www.alznj.org).
