Eleonora (Ripolino) Loia ,98, of Mountainside and Westfield passed away peacefully on March 3 surrounded by her loving family.

Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday March 7 at 10 am at Holy Trinity Church, Westfield.

Born and raised in Tocco Caudio, Italy, she was the youngest of 7 children of Eugenio and Girolma Ripolino.
She came to the U.S. in 1965, lived in Jersey City before settling in the Westfield and Mountainside area in 1972.
A faithful member of Holy Trinity Church in Westfield, Eleonora lived to cook and care for her family. She adored her grand and great-grandchildren, who she helped raise.
Beloved wife of the late Pellegrino (2003). Devoted mother of Anna Ferraro and her husband Palmiro, and Cosimo Loia and his wife Angela. She will be deeply missed by her 6 grandchildren, Maria Murray and her husband Chuck, Vinnie Ferraro and his wife Lauren, Lina DiPietro and husband Giuseppe, Perry Loia and wife Jennifer, David Loia and wife Sandy, and Lisa DiIusto and husband Frank; and by her 16 great-grandchildren, Michael, Alex, Nicky, Isabella, Olivia, Vinnie, Giuseppe, Giulianna, Giovanni, Jessica, Kaitlyn, Michelle, David, Matteo, Nicholas, and Luca.
